Video SpiceRack Pro and Organic FX

The already excellent visual effects add-ons of Video SpiceRack has two new family members Video SpiceRack pro and Organic FX.

The Video SpiceRack Pro gives digital video editors over 500 fresh, super-softenable visual transitions for their productions. Organic FX has over 300 dynamic fluids, forces, climatics and “live” textures to flow visual content or effects on or off of the screen.

Video SpiceRack Pro and Organic FX expand on the already tasteful approach of the original Video SpiceRack set of transitions. Most video editors stick with basic cuts and dissolves for transitions. However, the spices add a soft and tasty effect to assist the audience transitions between scenes.

Video SpiceRack Pro has over 500 effects that include a wide range of transitions, from elegant to the energetic. There are 250 new effects added to the 250 favorites from the original Video SpiceRack. Organic FX has over 250 evolving organic transitions that give you dynamic fluids, bursts, erosions and more. All Pixélan effects run real-time in many of today’s real-time editing systems and can be accelerated in ICE’d Final Effects.

The spices can also serve as dynamic mattes. Using the spices as dynamic mattes you can define where and how changes, blurs and distortions. Throw out the complex superimposing techniques.

To create a dynamic matte in Premiere 5.x simply align the same clip in the A & B video tracks of the timeline. Apply a filter or other visual effect from a third party plug-in to the clip you want to matte. Apply a spice between the overlapping clips and you are finished. Simply adjust the softness of the effect or keyframe it to add effect.

Pixélan also gives you Photoshop actions that allow you to flip, rotate, or offset spices automatically. There are also Photoshop actions to automate the process of creating a High-Res set of spices for output of HDTV and film.
