3 songs recorded for S. Ramanathan’s Zamaanat
Music director Viju Sha recorded three songs for Raam Raj Kalamandir’s Zamaanat, an Amitabh Bachchan starrer, from November 27 to December 1 at Western Outdoor Recording Studios. Penned by Sameer, the three duets were rendered by Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and Jaspinder Narula. They will be picturised this month in Chennai, Hyderabad and on locations in the South. Being produced and directed by S. Raamanathan, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Vijaya Shanti, Karisma Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Anupam Kher, Tinnu Anand, Shivaji Satam, Sharat Saxena and Satyaprakash. The film has story by Om Shree and screenplay by Prayag Raaj and MM.D. Sunder, cinematography by V. N. Murali, action by Vikram Dhara.

Deepak Bahry’s, Ajay-Ameesha starrer Parwana

Producer-director Deepak Bahry’s Parwana mount the sets on December 8, at Natraj Studio, Andheri, followed by a 10-day shooting spell. Being made under the banner of Bahry Films, the film stars Ajay Devgan, Ameesha Patel, Gulshan Grover, Paresh Rawal, Sayaji Shinde with Kader Khan and Danny Denzongpa. Meanwhile fight master Veeru Devgan is coming back after five years who is providing action scenes. Based on a story-screenplay by Rajeev Kaul-Praful Parekh, the film has dialogue by Tanvir Khan with cinematography by Damodar Naidu, art by Bijon Das Gupta, sound by Chotu Bhai, editing by Naseer Khan, lyrics by Sameer and music by Sanjeev Darshan.

Satish Khanna’s Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse

Producer Satish Khanna has signed Shamita Shetty to play the female lead opposite Chandrachur Singh in his Satish Khanna Productions’ Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse. Sanjay Dutt plays a very special role in the film. The film is directed by debutante Rishi Talwar. It has music by Sanjeev Darshan with lyrics penned by Sameer. Being written by S. Farhan, it has cinematography by Anil Sehgal. Other cast and credits are under finalisation.

Sunil Shetty completes his dubbing for Ittefaq

Sunil Shetty has completed his dubbing for Crown Films’ Ittefaq at Anand. Now Mukul Dev and Kader Khan also started their dubbing. The film also stars Pooja Batra, Anupama Verma, Puneet Issar, Ashok Saraf, Mushtaq Khan, Ishrat Ali, Shiva, Aroon Bakshi, Shehzaad Khan, Tiku Talsania, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Kader Khan. Directed by Sanjay Khanna, the film has music by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen.

11 days shooting completed for Angaar

Writer-producer and director Ajay Kashyap has completed 11 days shooting schedule following the launching of the movie on November 11, 2000 of Angaar (the fire) held at Chamatkar bungalow, Chetan Studios and Jeevan Silk Mills, Mumbai. During the inital shooting spell one song, dramatic and emotional scenes were picturised. The participants were Vinay Anand, Sanober Kabir, Shradha Sharma, Kadar Khan, Alok Nath, Johnny Lever, Mushtaq Khan, Rana Jung Bahadur, Sulakshana Khatri, Abhijeet Kashyap, and Dilip Sen. Cinematography by Pramod Bhandari, editing by Kamal Saigal are other credits.

Shola Aur Barood censored

Producer Sarabjit Chaudhary (Sunny) and director Teerat Singh’s new film Shola Aur Barood has been certified by Central Board of Film Certification with ‘A’ certificate. Stars Satnam Kaur, Amit Pachori, Rani Sinha, Dinesh Hingoo, Anil Nagrath, Harish Patel, Ishrat Ali, Kiran Kumar and Shakti Kapoor who plays stellar roles, music by Dheeraj Sen, script by P.K. Sharma, action by Riaz Sultan, Shola Aur Barood is a Jagdish Chaudhary presentation.

Raj Guru announces Dulhan Ki Doli

Producer-director Raj Guru has announced a feature film tentatively titled Dulhan Ki Doli to be made under the banner of Raj Kumar Films. The movie has Shakti Kapoor, Raza Murad, Rajesh Puri and Roshni who plays stellar roles. In the meanwhile the main leading pair is being finalised. Other credits are cinematography by Gaurang Shah, editing by Dilip Darak, script by Rajendra Duggal and choreography by Shankar Vyas. Rameshwar Rai presents Dulhan Ki Doli which will be launched shortly inn Mumbai with a week long shooting schedule.

Pahlaj Nihalani signs writer-director R Pasha Jung

Well known producer Pahlaj Nehlani has signed R. Pasha Jung to write and direct Chirag Deep Internationals English Movie IF I Could Love You More to be shot in India and abroad. R. Pasha Jung has also been signed to write and direct another Hindi feature film to be produced by Tahir Hussain under the banner of Al-Tahir Entertainment.

Chehra Maut Ka first copy due

The first copy of Gee Vee Films Combines Chehra Maut Ka will be out next week. The film is being produced by N.C. Vasani and directed by Indar Kumar Gupta.

The film stars Rani Sinha, Mamta Singh, Bhavana, Sonia, Kripali, Chetan Kumar, Juggal Nayak, Devdutt, Prashant Jaiswal, Mahesh Raj, Janardhan Mishra, Dinesh Bagdi, Budhdeo, Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Ghanshyam, Mack Mohan and Kiran Kumar, written by J.K. Ahuja, photography by Naren Gedia and Tapan, action by Riaz-sultan, art by Baban Bavelekar, dances by Sailesh Koli, editing by Prakash Kothare, lyrics by Pradeep Trivedi and Taj Akhtar, music by K.N. Jha. The film is being readied for release on January first week.
