LAUNCHED

Angaar (The Fire)

Writer-producer and director Ajay Kashyap’s Angaar (The Fire) was launched on November 11 at Chamatkar Bungalow in Mumbai with a regular eleven-day shooting schedule to be followed at Jeevan Silk Mills, Surve Farm Panvel and Chetan Studios, Mumbai. During the initial spell many dramatic and talkie portions were picturised on Rajat Bedi, Vinay Anand, Sona Kabir, Shradha Sharma, Kadar Khan, Johny Lever, Alok Nath, Rana Jung Bahadur, Dilip Sen, Sukshna Khatri, Mustaq Khan and Rajesh Sabharwal. Being made under the banner of Deva Productions, it has cinematography by Pramod Bhandari.

Durga Bhawani

Producer Ajay R Shah and music director Popat launched their Grishma Films‘ Durga Bhawani on November 17 at Millennium 2000 Studios, Mumbai with the recording of a song. Penned by Vidya Shukla, it was sung by Mohmed Aziz. Being directed by Ajay Shah and Nand Kishore and written by Salim Jaffar, it has choreography by Anish Khan, cinematography by Shyamal Chakravorty and action by Bhupendra Singh (Binda). Durgesh Nandini plays the title role. Meanwhile rest of the cast and credits are being finalised.


ANNOUNCED


Kahona Dil Ki Baat

Creative Team has announced its second venture titled Kaho Na Dil Ki Baat. Three top heroes of the industry have already been finalised. One top heroine and a new girl are under finalisation. The film will mounts on the set with a major shooting schedule in the first week of January next year. It is being produced and directed by Ranjit Rana. Rest of the starcast and technicians are under finalisation. Meanwhile Creative Teams’ maiden ambitious venture Dil Ka Sawal Hai Ye DIl Mange More is complete and slated for release in December end. Produced and directed by Ranjit Rana, the film stars Inder Kochar, Nilambari, Mushtaq Khan, Madhuri, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Gulsan Grover.

Woh Mujhme Main Tujhme
Writer-producer and director SK Sha has announced Cine Vision Arts’ Woh Mujhme Main Tujhme which will go on floors in January. The film will introduce Praful Patel. The other cast and credits are being finalised. It has dialogue by Ghulam Kadar Shaikh, cinematography by Kishore Salvekar and action by Hanif.

Jungle Mein Mangal

Producers Manoj Williams and Amit Nagpal have announced Jungle Mein Mangal, to be written and directed by SU Sayyed. Meanwhile music director Raadhiya has already recorded six songs for the film recently. A start-to-finish shooting schedule will be executed soon. In the meanwhile main starcast and other credits are being finalised. It is a New Line Unlimited presentation.


SHOOTING

Prem Yoddha

A five-day shooting stint for Shobha Creations’ Prem Yoddha began from November 29 at Film City, Chandivili Studios and on locales of Mumbai featuring Nirmal Pandey, Rajesh Mahajan, Shraddha Sharma and Shalini Kapoor. The film also stars Govind Namdev, Kashmira Shah, Anant Jog, Dev Malhotra, Brijesh Tiwari, Mahesh Raaj and Swati Verma. Being produced by Rajasav and Shashikant and directed by Sonu Krishna, it is written by Anand Vardhan, and has lyrics by Yogesh and Saakshi and music by Babul Bose.

Maut Ki Aandhi

A non-stop seven-day shooting stint for Chandan Films’ Maut Ki Aandhi was held from November 26 to December 3 at various locales and bungalows of Mumbai featuring Amit Pachori, Anu Kashyap, Upma Shrivastava, Vijay Solanki, Raza Murad, Mac Mohan, Ali Khan and Anil Nagrath. The film is being produced by Chandan Kumar and written and directed by Rajesh Bakshi. Cinematography by Dinesh K Thakkar, lyrics and music by Sawan Kumar Sawan, action by Darshan Singh, choreography by Dinesh Balraj and editing by Tarsem Badhan are the other credits.

Daman Chakra

Writer-producer and director Gautam Palit completed the entire shooting portion including the climax for Bharat Arts’ Daman Chakra held on October 24 to 27 at Embessy and Basra Studios, Mumbai. During the current spell all the artists participated including Prasad Oak, Madhumani Govinda Namdeo, Mohan Joshi, Mushtaq Khan, Pratibha Raj and Upasna Singh. The film has music by Pradip Laad, cinematography by Manish Bhatt, choreography by Mahesh, editing by Harish Chaudhary, action by Surjeet Chaser and dialogues by Hameed Patel. It is a Vipin Nandurdikar presentation.

Zulm Ke Khilaf

Writer-producer and director Gautam Palit completed a six-day shooting schedule from October 15 to 21 for Bharat Arts’ Zulm Ke Khilaf at Film City and Essel Studios, Mumbai wherein action and talkie portions were picturised on Asif Shaikh, Sudhir Mattu, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Goga Kapoor, Raza Murad and Ishrat Ali. After this, the film will be ready in eleven reels. Other credits are music by Pradip Laad, cinematography by Manish Bhatt, choreography by Mahesh, editing by Harish Chaudhary and action by Surjeet Chaser.

Ek Lootera

Producer-director and editor Jitendra Chawda executed a three-day spell from November 27 to 29 for Ishwar Films Ek Lootera at Jeevan Silk Mills, Mumbai wherein action and dramatic scenes were picturised on Shakti Kapoor, Raza Murad and Deepak Shirke.The film also stars Dharmendra, Prithvi Anil Nagrath and Satnam Kaur in stellar roles. Sawan Kumar Sawan provides the musical score.

Queen of Khajuraho

Producer Ajay Kumar and director Pappu Behruz held the last four-day shooting spell from November 12 to 15 for Altanta Productions’ Queen of Khajuraho at Chandivili Studios, Mumbai and outdoor locales at Surve Farms, Panvel. During this spell, dramatic and emotional scenes were canned on Amit Pachori, Sunita, Kirti Shetty, Mushtaq Khan, Meenakshi and Aman Sagar. Sawan Kumar Sawan has provided the musical score for the film.


SIGNED

Jeene Nahin Doongi

Lipika has been siged to play a key role in Divya Enterprises’ Jeene Nahin Doongi. The film is being produced by RM Mishra and directed by K Chandra.

Raat Ka Doosra Paher

Kiran Kumar, Hemant Birje and Pooja Dadwal have been signed to play major roles in Havoc Films’ Raat Ka Doosra Paher. The film also stars Aman Sagar, Sikander Khan, Arun Mathur, Kishore Bhanushali, Brownie, Chhotu Dada, Sonia Khan, Pooja Choksey, Geeta Nishaad and Razak Khan. Music director Navin Kumar recorded all the five songs of the film at Sargam Recording Studios recently. Penned by Nayyar Jaunpuri and Ayoob Siddique, they were rendered by Mohd. Aziz, Shabbir Kumar, Vaishali and Saira Khan. The film went on floors on November 26 at Baba Khan Farm in Ahmedabad and Jai Sabar Studios, Gandhinagar with a 15-day non-stop shooting stint. Produced by Razzak Khan and Zubair Chauhan and directed by Rahman Shaikh, it has story by Razzak Khan, screenplay and dialogue by Ashok Jabalpuri, cinematography by Dinesh K Thakkar and action by Mohammedbhai Ahmedabadi.


SONGS RECORDED

Three songs
Music directors Gunwant Raaj recorded three more songs for Royal Productions’ maiden venture, yet untitled, recently at Saba Recording Theatre. Penned by Vinay Bihari and Rafiq Rajasthani, they were rendered by Mohd. Aziz, Priya Bhattacharya, Gautam Kole, Poonam Bhatia and Gunwant. The film is being directed by K Shivraam. Written by Salim Reza, it has cinematography by Manish-Jehangeer, action by Shamim Azim, choreography by Kauser Shaikh and editing by Baloo Saluja. The cast and other credits of the film are being finalised and it will go on the floors in Jaunuary.


POST PRODUCTION

Ek Raaz Mere Dil Mein Hai
Dubbing of Cine Deep Productions’ Ek Raaz Mere Dil Mein Hai was completed on November 30 at Sight-N-Sound. Background music of the film will be recorded on December 2 and 3 and mixing of final sound-tracks will be held from December 4 to 6 at Film City. The first copy of the film will be out on December 12 and it is being readied for January release all over. Produced and directed by Surinder Malhotra, it stars Jay Thakur, Sanjeevni Gupta, Anu Kashyap, newfind Sapna, Priya Kadam, Mac Mohan, Madhoo Bharti, Mahesh Raaj, Dinesh Hingoo, Rana Jung Bahadur, Raju Shrivastava, Yunus Parwaiz, Ankush Mohit, Surendra Pal and Ranjeet. Written by Dr. Balkishan Mauj, it has music by Gunwant Raaj, lyrics by Kaivalya Shah and Soz Lyallpuri, cinematography by Rajan Lyallpuri and editing by Satish Handa.

Sabse Badi Ganga Ki Saugandh

Producer M Kartik and Director KI Sheikh held the final editing work from November 20 for Show World Television’s Sabse Badi Ganga Ki Saugandh being held at Satyam Editing Room, Mumbai. The film stars Dharmendra, Nirmal Pandey, Durgesh Nandini, Sapna, Jay Thakur, Shah Gayas Khan, Shiva, Hemant Birje, Tej Sapru, Raza Murad, Anil Nagrath and Mohan Joshi. Written by Khalid, the film has music by Suraj Kiran and cinematography by Ashok Rao.


EDITING


Utren
Writer-producer-director and actor Ashok Mudgal has commenced the final editing work of Utren at Apollo Editing Room from November 16. The film also stars Rajani Chandra, Himani Shivpuri, Sudha Chandran, Mushtaq Khan, Arun Bali, Sushil Yogi and Urmila. Other credits are music by Aziz Ali, cinematography by Trilok Chaudhary and lyrics by Mrs. Snehlata Mudgal.


FIRST PRINT


Zum Zum Bum Bum
After the mixing of JJ Films’ Zum Zum Bum Bum was completed on November 27 at Film City, the first copy of the film will be out on December 2 from Ramnord Labs. Produced by Jasbir Kapoor, it stars Ajay Kumar, Tushima, Aarif Khan, Malashree, Vivek Shauq, Alok Nath, Reena, Ashok Saraf, Pankaj Berry, Neelima Pendharkar, Anjali Kolhapure, Deepak Parasher and Sadashiv Amarapurkar. Written by Akhtar Romani who has also penned the lyrics, it has screenplay by Akhtar Romani and Prakash Kapoor, music by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen and Pappu Pawan, cinematography by J Singh and Shashi R Kshtriya, choreography by Mahesh Kumar, Willy and Chhaya Mahadik, action by Surjeet Chaser, sound by Harbans Singh and editing by Pappu Phalwinder. The film is being readied for release in December/January all over.

Aakhri Intequam

The post-production work of Guru Kripa Art Internationals’ Aakhri Intequam began with the dubbing at Studio Ablaze recently and the first print of the film will be out on December 10. The film is produced by Dr Saiyad Ali Momin and Rajat Kumar and written and directed by Rajesh Bakshri. It stars Sudesh Berry, Anu Kashyap, Amit Pachori, Jeetendra Jeetu, Amita Nangia, Sangeeta, Bhakti Kapoor, Mac Mohan, Anil Nagrath, Ali Khan, Barquat Ali, Johny Nirmal, Sanjay Swaraaj, Rajesh Bakshi and Raza Murad. It has lyrics by Anand Bechain and music by Aroop Pranay and Sawan Kumar Sawan.

Jungle Hero
The first print of producers M Kartik and Ashok Dhagewal’s Jungle Hero was out of Ad Labs on November 25. Being directed by KI Sheikh, the film stars Amit Pachori, Kirti Shetty, Jack Gaud, Sapna, Gajendra Chauhan, Jaggi Gaman, Shah Gayas Khan, Ashok Dhagewal and Mohan Joshi. Being made under the banner of Show World Television, it is written by Khalid and has music by Pappi Lahiri. It is a Saaj Video and Advt. Pvt. Ltd. Presentation movie.


NEGATIVE CUTTING


Janardan
PRO, Ramesh Kerur cut the first negative for Suraj and Dheeraj Combines’ Janardan at Ad Labs on November 21 in the presence of writer-director Satish Nagapure, production executive Rajesh Kadam (Bunty) and many well wishers. Jitendra plays the title role of Janardan alongwith Ishrat Ali, Alok Nath, Deepak Shirke, Ramesh Bhatkar, Ajit Vachchani, Sulbha Deshpande, Avtar Gill, Mahesh Raj, Arif Khan, Shiva and new lead pair Ramesh Kumar and Vishakha Jhaveri. Other credits are cinematography by Nisha Telang, music by Kishore Sharma, lyrics by Dev Kohli and Raghvendra, action by Shamim Azim, editing by Shrikant Telang and choreography by Jay Borade and Kishore Oroskar.

Shri Swami Samarth

The muhurat of Shri Swami Samarth being made in Hindi, Marathi and English was held at Chetan Studio, Andheri. Narayan Rane the Opposition leader in the Maharashtra Assembly sounded the clap, Sachin Ahir Chairman MHADA broke the auspicious coconut and Anandrao Devkate, Cabinet Minister switched on the camera. The muhurat shot was taken on Surendra Pal who is playing the title role along with Rahul Roy, Bhagyashree, Alok Nath, Mac Mohan, Suresh Bhagwat and newcomer Pallavi Lanjekar. The muhurat was attended by many dignitaries from film industry and ministry.
