Andar
Ki Baat launched
Producer Neha Rajput and director Sanju (assistant to director
Jitendra Chawla) launched their feature film Andar Ki Baat
on November 18 with a five-day shooting schedule held at Nirmal,
Chamatkar and Sun Villa Bungalows, Mumbai. During this spell,
all the artistes including Kirti Shetty, Yamini, Amit Pachori,
Kamal Malik, Sohail Khan, Ali Khan, Raza Murad, Anil Nagrath,
Shiva, Johny Nirmal, Kishore Bhanushali, Jay Kalgutkar and
Ishrat Ali participated. Being made under the banner of Mata
Vaishno Devi Films, it has music by Sawan Kumar Sawan, action
by Riyaz Sultan, script by Dilip Raut, cinematography by Salim
Suma, editing by Shahzad Khan, art by Anjali Tiwari and choreography
by Kauser.
Vadh complete
The entire shooting of M/s. Mega Star Vadh is now complete.
Actress Sambhava has been added to the starcast of the film
and one song has been picturised on her. Nana Patekar participated
in the shooting and canned scenes shot in the swimming pool
alongwith the remaining starcast. The dubbing will start soon.
Being produced by r Dilip Dhanwaniji, the film also stars
Puru Rajkumar, Anupama Varma, Meghna Kothari, Arun Bakshi
and Raju Mavani with Nakul Vaid. Being written and directed
by NS Raj Bharath, it has music by Vishal Shekar and lyrics
by Nida Fazli .
Sanjay Dutt in Annarth
Sanjay Dutt is to make a special appearance in producer-director
Ravi Dewans Annarth. Also starring Sunil Shetty, Raveena
Tandon, Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukesh Rishi, Ishrat
Ali, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Johny Lever, the film has music
by Anand Raaj Anand, screenplay and dialogues by Girish Dhamija,
cinematography by Nirmal Jani, choreography by Saroj Khan
and Ganesh Acharya, art by Nitin Desai, editing by Prashant
and Vinod, sound by Jitendra Chowdhary. Annarth will be made
under the banner of Suryoday Productions.
Vimal Kumars Aashiqui Deewaangi
Shivam Chitryas Aashiqui Deewaangi was launched on November
9 at Hiranadani complex and Filmalaya Studios with a five-day
shooting stint. Kuku Kohli sounded the clapper-board as lead
pair Karan Nath and Keerti Reddy faced the camera for the
muhurat shot. The film is being produced and directed by Vimal
Kumar and co-produced by Rajendra Agrawal. Written by Javed
Siddiqui, it has cinematography by Rajan Kinagi, lyrics by
Sameer, art by R Varman and action by Shahid. Music directors
Nadeem-Shravan recorded the second song of the film at Sunny
Super Sounds in the voices of Kumar Sanu and Prabha Bharti
from November 20 to 22.
Nandita Das in Lal Salaam
Lal Salaam, based on a true story of a Naxalite Chandrakka,
is the maiden venture of Manas Communications. Producer Sanjiv
Karambelkar and director Gagan Vihari have completed the entire
talkie portion of the film in a record three months non-stop
shooting schedule at Igatpuri, Nasik and in villages of Garchiroli.
Only two songs are to be shot in the first week of December
after which the film is complete. The film stars Nandita Das,
Sharad Kapoor, Sayaji Shinde, Vijay Raj, Rajpal Yadav, Akhilendra
Mishra, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Makrand Deshpande. Written
by Arshad Jamal, it has music by Aadesh Srivastava, cinematography
by Debu Deodhar and action by Abbas.
Songs for Soch
Two songs were recorded for Zeekay Films Pvt. Ltd.s
Soch from November 20 to 26 at Studio Blue Diamond. Penned
by Sameer, they were set to tune by Jatin-Lalit. While Sonu
Nigam and Richa Sharma rendered one song, Kay Kay and Kavita
Krishnamoorthy lent their voice for the second number. Being
produced by Dr Wijakat Kareem with Dr Mrs Surheeta Kareem
as the co-producer, the film stars Sanjay Kapoor, Raveena
Tandon, Aditi Govitrikar, Arbaaz Khan and Danny Denzongpa.

by Atul Tiwari, cinematography by Rajen Kothari, choreography
by Rekha Chinni Prakash, editing by Umesh Gupta, audiography
by Anuj Mathur action by Shahid Ali Shanu and art by Sunita
Gupta are the other credits. Rizwan Ullah is the associate
producer of the film which is 50 per cent complete. A major
schedule will be held in December.
Udbhav sings for Aandhi Aur Toofan
Udhbav (of Mohabhattein fame) rendered two songs while Mahalaxmi
Iyer and Sunidhi Chauhan rendered three songs for Manav Enterprises
Aandhi Aur Toofan at Well Do Recording Theatre recently. Penned
by Ravi Chopra, they were set to tune by Amod Bhatt. The film,
now 12 reels ready, is being produced by Ashok Saraswat and
directed by SR Pratap. Starring Dharmendra, Nirmal Pandey,
Sadashiv Amarapurkar, Hemant Birje, Sanjeevni Gupta, newfind
Preeti Bhutani, Pushpa Verma, G Harish Kumar, Rajesh Raaj
and Pinky Chinoy, the film is written by Khaleed Jameel, and
has choreography by Agnes Hamilton and editing by K Rafiq.
It is co-produced by Peter Almeida and has VB Saxena Muradabadi
as the executive producer. George Albert DCruz presents
the film.
Meri Adalat
The last four-day shooting stint of Omkar Films Meri
Adalat was held from November 30 to December 3 at various
Mumbai locales. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Swarna, Vishal
Bakshi, Megha, Rakesh Bedi, Prithvi, Raza Murad, Deepak Shirke,
Anil Nagrath, Shakti Kapoor and Prem Chopra, the film is produced
by Satish Shetty and directed by Hamid Ali. Written by Meeraal
Mirza, it has cinematography by Vinit Sapru, action by Riyaz
Sultan, choreography by Ganesh Acharya and Dolly Pop, lyrics
by Rani Malik and Anwar Sagar, music by Babul Bore and editing
by Bhaskar Rai.
Insaaf Ki Jung
Producers Krishna Rao and Joginder Sharma commenced the patch
work shooting for Durga Productions Insaaf Ki Jung from
December 1 at Chetna Studios and Film City wherein dramatic
and talkie portions are being picturised on Ram Asra, Harish
Patel, Pramod Moutho, Shraddha Sharma, Anil Nagrath, Sunil
Rege, Pankaj Berry, Shiva, Tej Sapru and Arjun. The film also
stars Mithun Chakravorty Suvarna, Sindhu and Deepak Shirke
in stellar roles. Directed by Prakash Kapoor, the film is
written by Mujee Khan, and has music by Pappu Pawan, cinematography
by Damodar Naidu, editing by Gyan Sharma and lyrics by Akhtar
Romani. After the current patch work shooting spell, entire
shooting of the film will be complete.
