Nakamichi
now in India
One
of the worlds premiere manufacturers of high quality
audio/video and multimedia equipment has now come to India.
Meeting the needs of an expanding and cultured world market,
Nakamichi has crafted the SoundSpace series, a new category
of design-driven audio systems inspired by architectures
use of glass, metal and textures. Based on the criteria of
value to user, aesthetics, contributions to quality of life
as well as the products innovative qualities, the SoundSpace
series is the recipient of the innovation 2000 awards honor
product excellence in design and engineering.
The SoundSpace series was designed to enhance and complement
any decor- from the bedroom to the boardroom. The SoundSpace
21 represents the flagship of the SoundSpace series and sets
a new standard in home theatre performance and design. Like
the SoundSpace 10, the SoundSpace 21 comes complete with an
A/V Tuner/Processor with built-in DTS and Dolby Digital surround
sound processing circuity and Nakamichis exclusive 5-disc
Music Bank DVD/CD Changer.
However, unique to the SoundSpace 21 are the four speakers
(Front L/R and Surround L/R) that come complete with their
own motorized speaker track system that allows
the user to select the vertical angle to best suit the viewing
or listening position. Dual-active subwoofers, center channel
speaker and convenient-to-use touch-panel remote control completes
the package.
We call our SoundSpace series design driven audio
because it reflects our desire to provide the ultimate in
system design and performance. To refer to them as clock
radios or stereo units does not do them
justice, remarked Ted Nakamichi, MD, Nakamichi Corporation.
Dean Miller, president of Nakamichi America Corporation says
Its a great honor for the first three Nakamichi
products in the SoundSpace line to be chosen for the Innovation
award. It not only sets a high standard by which our future
SoundSpace products will be judged but also gives our engineers
and designers reason and the will to have to strive to surpass
the current products in future SoundSpace offering.
Nakamichi in India plans to leverage its expertise in the
audio/visual industry to bring new and exciting products to
the Home Audio CD Systems, DVD Players, Mobile Sound for car
