Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke
Producer-director Deepak Shivdasani is currently canning a lavish song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya on Ajay Devgan, Preity Zinta, 400 dancers and 1000 junior artistes for Yashish Enterprise’s Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke on a gigantic set at Film City Maidan, wherein a huge statue of Lord Shiva and some exotic waterfalls have been specially erected by art director R Verman. The nine-day spell concluded on November 8. Also starring Madhuri Dixit in a leading role supported by Vikram Gokhale, Rajeev Verma, Asha Sharma, Jayshree T, Lalit Tiwari, Deep Dhillon, Shammi, Smita Jaykar, Mayur and Kiran Kumar, the film has music by Sanjeev-Darshan, lyrics by Anand Bakshi, story by Deepak Shivdasani, screenplay by Robin Bhatt and Akash Khurana, dialogues by Kader Khan, cinematography by Rajan Kinagi, editing by Shirish Kundar and sound by Venugopal. Veena Advani is the executive producer and Pradeep Sadarangani is the co-producer.


Dil Dhoondta Hai

Producer Tahir Hussain and director Anwar Pasha canned some crucial talkie portions for Al-Tahir Entertainment’s Dil Dhoondta Hai during a six-day stint at Nair bungalow from November 1 feauring newcomers Shoeb Khan, Devi Sri and Divya along with Meena Patel and junior artistes. The film also stars Suhas Joshi, Upma Srivastava, Ved Thapar, Shehzad Khan, Farhad Nathani, Bob Bramhbhatt and Mushtaq Merchant. Music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Tahir Hussain, story by Anwar Pasha, screenplay by Tahir Hussain, Shenaz T Khan and Anwar Pasha, dialogues by Madan Joshi, cinematography by Munir Khan, art by Shiv Shankar, choreography by Saroj Khan, Rekha Chinni Prakash and Raju Khan, editing by Ajay Saxena and sound by Madan Prakash are the other credits.


Sanjay Narvekar in Pyaasa

Sanjay Narvekar has been signed to play a very important role in Pyaasa, to be directed by A Muthu. A Triple Aar Movies presentation, the film stars Aftaab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Smita Jaykar, Anang Desai and Akhilendra Mishra. Written by Sanjeev Duggal and produced by Ramesh Sharma, it has dialogue by Tanveer Khan, fights by Bhiku Verma, music by Sanjeev Darshan and lyrics by Faiz Anwar.

Suhasini Mulay in
Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar

Suhasini Mulay has been signed to play a very important role in S Priyadarshan-directed Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar. Being jointly produced by Sudesh Iyer, Rajesh Bhatia and Hemang Desai, the film stars Sunil Shetty, Mahima Chaudhary, Sanjay Narvekar and Paresh Rawal. Written by Neeraj Vora, it has music by Anand Milind, lyrics by Ibrahim Ashq, cinematography by Jeeva and art by Sabu Cyril. Vikram Razdan is the executive producer. It is a Ripples Entertainment presentation,


Karan Nath, a new entrant

Even before the completion of his first film, Karan Nath, son of Rikku Rakesh Nath, has already signed eleven films with top directors. He is being introduced by Kuku Kohli in Yeh Dil Aashiqana, followed by Joy Augustine’s Paagalpan, two home productions with Satish Kaushik and Abbas-Mastan, one film each with Venus, Tips, Prakash Jha, Pahlaj Nihalani, Rajiv Rai and Rikku Rakeshnath. Vimal Kumar is progressing briskly with the shooting of his Ashiqui Deewangi and is planning to complete and release it by Diwali in 2001. 90 per cent of the film’s shooting will be held abroad during a 40-day non-stop stint shortly.

Anil Nagrat has been signed to play important roles in Mukta Arts Ltd. Rahul, produced and directed by Prakash Jha, Shree Krishna Internationals’ Ek Rishtaa - The Bond Of Love, produced and directed by Sunil Darshan, Sunny Deol’s new production being directed by A Maharajan, Jeetendra’s Govinda-starrer directed by David Dhawan, MKD Films, producer Ketan Desai’s Salman Khan-starrer directed by David Dhawan.
