Zindagi Khoobsoorat Hai in Kullu, Nangal
The first shooting schedule ofZindagi Khoobsoorat Hai will commence from October 22 to November 8 at Nangal in Punjab and Kullu Manali. Action director Shyam Kaushal will can some sequences on a moving train. Part of some songs and a few scenes will be shot on the lead pair Gurdas Maan and Tabu. Produced by Manjeet Maan and directed by Manoj Punj, the film also stars Sonu Sood, Divya Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Baby Chandani and Ashish Vidhyarthi in key roles. Written by Suraj Sanim, the film has music by Anand Raj Anand, lyrics by Suraj Sanim, Dev Kohli and Shyam Balkar, cinematography by Pramod Mittal, editing by Omkar Bhakri, sound by Narender Singh and choreography by Saroj Khan.

Song for Suno Sasurji
A romantic song was shot on Aftab Shivdasani, Ameesha Patel and dancers on a massive set erected at Filmalaya Studios during a three-day stint for Shivam Chitryas’ Suno Sasurji under the supervisation of dance director Chinni Prakash. Produced and directed by Vimal Kumar, the film has story-screenplay by Rajiv Kaul-Prafull Parekh, dialouge by Anwar Khan, lyrics by Sameer and music by Sanjeev-Darshan. Kadar Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Yunus Parvez, Shashi Sharma, Gulshan Grover and Asrani also play key roles in the film.

Musical launch of Khatron Ke Khiladi
ABC Pictures Pvt. Ltd’s film Khatron Ke Khiladi was launched on Dassera day, October 7 with the recording of a song by composer Ram Shankar. Penned by Rajendra Bhatt, it was rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan and Ram Shankar. Being produced by Sanjay D Chaturvedi and directed by Imran Khalid, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Puru Rajkumar, Nirmal Pandey, Sudesh Berry, Raju Mavani, Mohan Joshi, Ishrat Ali, Rami Reddy, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Tej Sapru, Mithilesh, Sikander, Sujata Mehta and newfind Sheel Jehangir with Raj Babbar in a double role. Three more heroines are yet to be finalised. Written by Khalid Majid, it has lyrics by Ibrahim Ashq and Rajendra Bhatt and action by Hanif Khan. Bharat Chaturvedi is the executive director. DN Chaturvedi presents the film. The regular shooting of the film will start from October 31 in Coimbatore.

Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse
Producer Satish Khanna has signed Chandrachur Singh to play the male lead in his Satish Khanna Productions’ Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse. Sanjay Dutt also plays an important role in the film which is directed by debutante Rishi Talwar. Written by S Farhan, it has music by Sanjeev Darshan, lyrics by Sameer, cinematography by Anil Saigal, action by Mahendra Varma, art by R Varman, editing by Dilip-Zafar and sound by Pradeep Suri. Other cast are under finalisation. The film will mount the sets on December 14.

Vadh at Ramoji Film City
A 45 day non-stop marathon shooting spell for Megha Stars’ Vadh commenced from October 16 at various locales of Hyderabad. The film stars Nana Patekar, Puru Rajkumar, Anupama Verma, Meghna Kothari, Aroon Bakshi and Raju Mawani with newfind Nakul Ved. A top heroine to be finalised to make a special apperance. Being jointly produced by Dilip Dhanwani and NS Raj Bharath and directed by NS Raj Bharath, the film is based on his own story and screenplay. Other credits include dialogue by Hriday Lani, cinematography by Devraj, action by Raju (from South), special effects and thrills by Mehoob, choreography by Jay Borade and Oscar, editing by Tony Glad, lyrics Nida Fazil and music by Vishal-Shekhar. It’s a Dilsa Distributors presentation.Second song for Pyasaa
nProducer Ramesh Sharma and editor-director A Muthu recorded the second song for Triple Aar Movies’ Pyassa on October 6 and 7 at Sunny Super Sounds. Penned by Faaiz Anwar and tuned by music directors Sanjeev-Darshan, the song was rendered in the voices of Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik. Based on a story by Ikram Akhtar, the film has screenplay by Sanjeev Duggal, dialogue by Tanveer Khan, art by Sameer Chanda and action by Bhiku Verma. The film will mount the sets on January 6 2001 at Kulu Manali and other locales in the South.

Munish Kohli in USA
Munish Kohli, son of producer-director Raj Kumar Kohli, left for America to collect special costumes and contact lenses made by top class designers there for the major artistes of Shankar Movies’ Prod. No. 25. The film stars Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Manisha Koirala, Aftab Shivdasani, Rambha, Aditya Pancholi, Arshad Warsi, Rajat Bedi, Siddharth, Payal, Mohini Sharma, Munish Kohli, Raj Babbar and Sonu Nigam. Presented by Nishi, it has story by Aatish, dialogue by KK Singh, cinematography by Thomas Xavier, action by Tinu Verma, art by Sunil Singh, sound by JP Saigal, lyrics by Sameer and music by Anand-Milind.

Bubby Kent’s film progressing
Producer Bubby Kent and director KS Adhiyaman commenced a 25-day marathon shooting schedule for Karishma Internationals Prod. No.7 from October 2 at Centaur Hotel, Juhu and a huge set erected at Mehoob Studio, Bandra wherein many romantic, dramatic and other important scenes were picturised on Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, and others. Based on a story by KS Adhiyaman, the film has story-screenplay by Rumi Jaffery, cinematography by WB Rao, action by Mahindra Varma, editing by DN Malik, art by R Varman, audiography by Ijaz Ahmed and music by Himesh Reshmiya. Ajay Paul is the executive producer while Lucky Sharma is the co-ordinating producer of this Bharat Shah presentation movie.

Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega
Dream Merchants Enterprises’ Prod. No.2 has now been titled Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega. Being directed by E Niwas for producers Nitin Manmohan and Ram Gopal Verma, the film stars Saif Ali Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Fardeen Khan, Sonali Bendre, Twinkle Khanna, Dalip Tahil, Suresh Bhagwat with T. Bharani and Sudha (from South). Music by Vishal Bharadwaj, lyrics by Abbas Tyrewala, story-screenplay-dialogues by Rajnish Thakur, cinematography by Venkat Prasad, art by R Varman and sound by Jagmohan Anand are the other credits.

Dil Dhoondta Hai back from Himalaya
The entire unit of A1-Tahir Entertainments’ Dil Dhoondta Hai returned from the Himalayan Valley on October 10 after having picturised two songs and some crucial talkie portions on newcomers Shoaib Khan, Devi Sri and Divya along with Mushtaq Merchant and dancers. Directed by Anwar Pasha for producer Tahir Hussain, the film also stars Suhas Joshi, Upma Srivastava, Ved Thapar, Shehzad Khan, Farhad Nathani, Meena Patel and Bob Bramhbhatt. It has music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Tahir Hussain, story by Anwar Pasha, screenplay by Tahir Hussain, Shehnaz T Khan and Anwar Pasha, dialogues by Madan Joshi, cinematography by Munir Khan, art by Shib Shankar, dances by Saroj Khan, Rekha Chinni Prakash and Raju Khan, editing by Ajay Saxena and sound by Madan Prakash.
