Salim’s Mitti and Oh Calcutta at Mount Abu
The entire unit of Aftab Pictures Pvt. Ltd. left for Mount Abu on August 25 for a week-long outdoor shooting schedule for Salim’s Mitti (Hindi) and Oh Calcutta (English), wherein two songs will be picutrised on Firadaus (Bangladeshi star) and Sharbani Mukerji. The film is being produced by Salim and written-directed by Iqbal Durrani. Also starring Vastavikta, Ragini, Desire, Kulbhushan Kharabanda, Pramod Moutho, Meghana Shane, Raju Mavani, Arif Zakaria and Mukesh Tiwari, it has music by Ali-Ghani, Sajid-Wajid and Monty, cinematography by KV Ramanna, action by Mahmood Bakshi, art by R Varman, sound by NB Shah, and editing by Waman Bhosle. HM Ishaque presents the film.

Main Tere Liye Sanam shot for 10-days

A ten-day initial shotting spell for Sargam Arts’ Main Tere Liye Sanam was concluded on August 13 on a lavish set erected at Filmalaya Studios and other Mumbai locales. Two songs under the baton of choreographer Dalip Mistry and some romantic and dramatic scenes were canned. The film stars a new romantic pair Quber Chauhan and Pooja Kharbanda, along with Mink, Pramod Moutho, Reema, Himani Shivpuri, Tiku Talsania, Mahesh Gupta and Ashish Vidyarthi. Being produced and directed by Vinod Chhabra, the film has story by Kanti-Sanjay, cinematography by S Pappu, art by Leeladhar Sawant, action by Sham Kaushal, editing by Arun Shekhar, lyrics by Nayyar Jaunpuri and Rakhi and music by Sunil Gyandev.

Sanjeev-Darshan’s music for
Ramesh Sharma’s venture
Producer Ramesh Sharma and director A Muthu have signed music directors Sanjeev-Darshan to provide the musical score for their Triple Aar Movies’ Prod. No.6. The cast and other credits are under finalisation.

One Two Ka Four Unit back from Kuala Lumpur

Producer Nazir Ahmed and director Shashilal K Nair canned three songs under the supervision of choreographer Ahmed Khan on lead pair Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla for Glamour Films’ One Two Ka Four during the course of a twelve-day spell at the exotic locales of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The schedule concluded on August 6 and was followed by a six-day stint that concluded on August 14 at Film City, Band Stand and Carter Road wherein vital protions were filmed on Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Nirmal Pandey, Keith Stevenson and Akash Khurana. The film also stars Jackie Shroff in a stellar role. It has music by AR Rahman, lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri, cinematography by S Kumar, art by Nitin Desai, action by Mahendra Verma and editing by Hussain Burmawala. Bhagwan Raj is the executive producer.

Chori Chori in Jodhpur
After completing a week-long shooting schedule on different locations in Mumbai, Om Shakti Combine’s Chori Chori is now being shot in a three-day schedule at Mumbai Airport, Khoja Bungalow and Ballard Pier. This will be followed by another two-week shooting schedule at Mehrangarh Museum in Jodhpur beginning September first week featuring Ajay Devgan, Rani Mukerji, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Shashikala, Virendra Saxena, Shama Deshpande, Mehernosh Dr. and Mushtaq Khan. Being directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Lalit Kapoor and Raju Narula, the film has music by Sajid-Wajid, lyrics by Anand Bakshi, cinematography by Manmohan Singh and choreography by Raju Khan.

Song recorded for Nitin Manmohan’s Deewangee

Music director Ismail Darbar has recorded the fourth song, penned by Salim Bijnori and sung by Kavita Krishnamoorthy on August 17-18 at Sunny Super Sound Theatre for Neha Arts’ Deewangee. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, the film is written and directed by Anees Bazmee for producer Nitin Manmohan. Cinematography by Piyush Shah, art by R Varman and action by Bhiku Verma are the other credits.
