Anu's
back. No, no this is not one of your look-he's-such-an-original-one items.
After Border, we've caught Anu doing his `inspired' number once again for
Sanjay Gupta's Hamesha. The song in question? It's a nice danceable ditty,
Neela Dupatta Peela Suit, except that it's heavily `inspired' by Michael
Jackson's They Don't Care About Us. But, Anu needn't worry. This time he
has company in the form of Rajesh Roshan who has beaten good 'ole Anu at
his own game. Roshan has already flicked the same song for Ghungate Mein
Chanda in Koyla. Meanwhile another one who's ready to join the `flick' brigade,
is A.R.Rahman himself. For his latest score in Kabhi Na Kabhi Rahman has
repeated an old composition, Anjali which had first surfaced in a Tamil film
Duet. Goes to show, that no one, not even the likes of Rahman and Roshan
are above `inspiration. Good news for friend Anu. What?
Music blues
Caught the Chappa chappa Chandrachur conducting music classes between shots.
His student -- a young, starry eyed fan. Apparently, the girl asked
Moon(Chandra)chur Singh if he really did teach music at Doon school. The
Moon replied in affirmative and not only offered to teach her but started
the first class on the set itself. Now isn't that a moonfull!
