'High School Musical' stars Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens have been compared to the British celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham.
The teen heartthrobs were likened to the power-couple consisting of football star David Beckham and his fashionista wife, former 'Spice Girl' Victoria Beckham, ‘Ace Showbiz’ reported.
Efron said that he found the comparison funny yet flattering. "I just can't believe this," he said.
The 21-year-old star said "Vanessa and I would love to be like the US David and Victoria Beckham."
The young stars, who first met on the set of 'High School Musical" in 2006 have since appeared as on-screen couple in the later editions of the successful teen romance.
