Co-producer UTV Motion Picture too would pitch in for getting the movie noticed world-wide.
“We have planned an aggressive campaign targeting the international audiences as well. We will begin screening the movie in Los Angeles within eight to ten days,” UTV Motion Picture’s CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur said adding that “The movie will be released here either in December or January.”
“As far domestic market is concerned, the movie will also been shown to the fraternity members including those who have been at Oscar before. Only after that we would fine-tune our campaign for the Academy awards,” Mokashi said.
Regarding the strategy to be followed at Oscars, the filmmaker said UTV’s earlier experience at the Academy awards would come handy. Mokashi said, as UTV’s Rang De Basanti was nominated for BAFTA and Taare Zameen Par for the Oscars. They know how to go about in the international market, he said. “Their expertise will definitely help us,” Mokashi added.
