Hema Malini, a public figure and an MP, had to travel without ticket in a train.Railway officials in Mumbai said there was no fine imposed on the MP for the travel and said no complaint of ticketless travel had been reported against Hema Malini.
The actress had travelled to Pandharpur for a function and was returning to Mumbai when she failed to receive a copy of the ticket and had to travel without it.
The MP travelled without a copy of her ticket from Kurudwadi in Solapur to Dadar in Mumbai.
A spokesperson for Hema Malini said the organisers of the function were to give her a copy of the ticket but the individual given the responsibility failed to deliver it to her.
"We informed Railway authorities there about the matter and there was no problem during the journey," the spokesperson said.
