At a recent awards bash, the stunning beauty told Dev, 18, she was a fan of his in his Oscar-dipped film.
“I love you in your movie so much! You’re so beautiful in it. You broke my heart. It was gorgeous,” ‘The Daily Express’ quoted her as saying.
However, a thrilled Dev, riding high on his recent sudden success, asked her for a hug in return, and made a big goof-up.
He said: “That means so much to me. You don’t understand. Thank you Mrs Hathaway!”
And the ‘Rachel Getting Married’ star, whose long-term ex-boyfriend is now famously locked up after pleading guilty to fraud, quickly corrected him, saying: “Oh no, it’s Miss! I’m not married.”
