The director, who is in the process of finalising the star-cast for the film, hopes to start pre-production of the film in September or October. “I will complete shooting in 61 days. I require five to six principal characters who are powerful performers,” Vivek, who has already got the assent of Amitabh Bachchan and Mithun Chakravarty for the movie, said. “Bachchan and Mithunda have verbally agreed to do the film,” he said, adding that the two stalwarts will share screen space together again after Agneepath.
He said Mithun gave him creative suggestions too. Vivek also met Shah Rukh Khan recently and narrated the story to him. “Shah Rukh liked the story. But, he has his apprehensions on doing an action scene on grounds of his health since he has recently undergone a shoulder surgery. I am keeping my fingers crossed,” said Vivek, who has also written and produced the movie.
“I have turned producer because I want to design the film my way without any creative interference,” Vivek said, adding that he intended to bring larger-than-life visuals on silver screen. The filmmaker’s latest release Kal Kissne Dekha produced by Vashu Bhagnani is slated to hit the screens later this week. He made his debut in Ravi Chopra’s Bhoothnath starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla last year.
