Why doesnt censor board look into these serials? by Nisha on 2009-10-31 19:01:32.442609+05:30 A serial like Uttaran which started with a meaningful topic is dragged into a scenario which is unrealistic and can affect people's minds. Veer getting married to Tapasya is not only unacceptable but they are trying to show how Tapasya becomes a mad girl due to her Nani's comments. Her behaviour turned into a wild character. On the other hand Iccha sacrificing her life and screwing up Veer's life. These are just various ways producer is trying to drag the story. There were no other topics to continue the serial. So "From the blue" openings of Veer's brother and chacha ji has been added. The censor board should be aware that whatever comments shown before the serial as:-"Ye dharavayik ek kalkpanik katha hai ....." and all is just for their safety and not for people. When people view the serial they take it as a sensible story and anything shown beyond it will affect them. Hope this message reaches the censor board and action is taken on showing sensible and lesson learning serials like Balika Vadhu.

She takes the decision to play with Veer's life without consulting Jogi Thakur or his wife who have been more than good to her. And to top it all she tells her mother with lot of overconfidence "Main Veer se baat karti hun, SAB TEEK O JAYEGA" as though she is such a great negotiator. She has no qualms about blatantly lying to Veer and Jogi Thakur when she has destroyed their lives. She is without any values and is irresponsible. I shudder to think of what she must have been teaching the slum kids all this while. They will also turn out to be liars and smartasses. Somebody slap her!!!

I think a serial loses its popularity if it challenges the viewer's common sense and its beginning to do exactly that. It is utterly foolish to assume that Jogi and shweta tolerated Tapasya's absence at the time of marriage and nobody looked at the bride's face at any point during the ceremony. Has anything evenly vaguely similar happened at any marriage that you have been to???? Communication gap in the kind of family that has been depicted is the other thing impossible to tolerate. I just hope that common sense prevails and the story line is made more sensible so that it attracts viewers above the IQ of 50. I will be sad at losing the interest in the serial but it will be impossible to bear the agony of challenge to my common sense.

We have stopped watching Uttaran by Eishita on 2009-10-27 13:30:55.929905+05:30 Truely speaking, Uttaran was one our favorite serial after Balika Vadhu for my family n friends because it was not about that traditional "saas bahu with a vilian” types. But now we all have just stopped watching after Tapasya got married to Veer. The serial has become SICK..The director seem to have forgotten the values of life, and showing such things do have a negative impact in human life and society..I feel even Ichchas character has become valueless...She can love her friend, fine, but that doesn’t mean that anybody else should not be valued. If she wanted she max should have not got married to Veer...but falsely putting Tapasya in her place was not only wrong but undignifing.One can take her own decisions but cannot take anybody else’s decisions…that too marriage when the entire life is related.Ichcha is seen to be just playing with Veers life…that’s cheating and not sacrifice.I would not ask the director to change the story…because he/she needs basic moral science lessons, and is not fit to be a director at all….The serial has lost the meaning of Uttaran…and now if Tapasya gives Veer back to Ichcha as Uttaran it would be stupid…cos Veer is a human and not a gift pack…Instead Ichcha should have married Veer , and Tapasya should have gained some pain and realized how Ichcha has beared the pain of her Uttaran since childhood..Its totally unrealistic.If u had to show this thing then u should not have brought up Ichcha and Tappu together.Its true from the point of Tapasya that a singlet can never expect her parents to share her love with a basti kid.In that case even Jogi Thakur was wrong at the start itself because Ichchas dad died in an accident.If he feels guilty he could have taken up the expenses of the family and and let them stay in a different place.Bringing them in his mansion was stupidity and unjustified for Tapasya.And now…it’s difficult to bear the non-sense….

Uttaran- Unrealistic Attidute of Tapasaya's parents by Ripra on 2009-06-05 13:19:11.357025+05:30 I find the behavior of Tapasaya's parents completely unreal. How can they not understand their own daughter's emotional turmoil. Tapasaya is right in her actions as she is jelous of Ichcha and to some extent it is correct. I would never give more importance to someone else'd child specially a servant's over my own child!! How can Jogi Thakur and his wife Divya do this to Tapasaya? I love watching this serial but my blood boils when i see Ichcha being given more preferance. Ichcha's father 's death was an accident , how can Jogi Thakur punish himself and his innocent daughter for it.I wish Ichcha and her mother leave the house and let Tapasya live happily with her parents.I cant stand Ichcha!
