Doctor Patient: An enterainer
Doctor Patient, produced by Ramprasad under the banner of A.R.Films, is an entertainer in the making. Directed by Viswanathan, who had earlier directed Out of Syllabus, the film narrates an interesting story set against the backdrop of a mental hospital. With Mukesh and Jayasurya in key roles, the film tells the story of what happens when Dr. Rueben Isaac (Jayasurya), a man with innovative and unconventional ideas happens to clash with the hospital MD, the young and beautiful Rakhi Devdas (Radha Varma), who is rather strict. And in between them comes a new psychiatrist (Mukesh), with whose arrival things take funny twist. In addition to Jayasurya, Mukesh and Radha Varma, the cast also includes Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraaj Venjaramoodu, Nedumudi Venu, Anoop Chandran, Manikuttan etc. Withrag Bennet sets to tune songs written by Jofi Tharakan and Rafeeque Ahmed. The director Viswanathan himself pens the script while M.J.Radhakrishnan is in charge of cinematography.
