Fuzon - Journey
EMI, Rs 195
A good album, but Fuzon have done better earlier, we are compelled to say. The better tracks include the soulful Tu kahaan, Suna suna and Dholna. One also wishes that the lyrics had been a shade fresher and the music a little distinctive and less like other pop bands.
Sitara
Worldwide Records, Rs 115
Vibhav Krishna’s vocals are pleasant, though he tries to change his voice unnecessarily in some tracks. The music by Prakash Aashish is serviceable but a weak area are the lyrics by Faaiz Anwaar, whose words are as cliched, as predictable and as ordinary as they come. Where has the lyricist of Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and Imithaan disappeared?
