"I'm desperate to have Taylor come play a vampire. Wouldn't she make an amazing Kristen Dunst circa 'Interview with the Vampire' type? I cannot tell you how hard I'm trying to get her - I would kill to have her on the show," Developer Kevin Williamson told E! News.

Despite his determination, Kevin believes Taylor, who was honoured with four prizes at the Country Music Awards (CMAs) this week, would turn down the role.

"She's too big for 'Vampire Diaries' now," he added.

Taylor is currently rumoured to be dating her 'Valentine's Day' co-star Taylor Lautner who plays were-wolf Jacob Black in hit vampire movie franchise 'The Twilight Saga' and recently asked the movie bosses to give them a private screening of their new film.

"I haven't seen 'Valentine's Day' at all. So hopefully we'll get to do a private screening because we both wanna see it so bad 'cause our scene was so much fun to do," Swift said.
