






Chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor is trying to experiment with his roles and is succeeding too. After playing a business tycoon in Jab We Met and an out of work young lad in Kismat Konnection, the actor is playing a character completely opposite his image in Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminay. Keeping the entire mood of story in mind, Shahid has a look of guy who is absolutely raw, hard and tough. The much-delayed Boney Kapoor's Milenge Milenge opposite Kareena Kapoor. The film is the Hindi version of Peter Chelsom's Serendipity, which is the story of two strangers who meet by accident while shopping for their respective partners' Christmas presents. In the movie, titled Paathshala, which is being produced by Ahmed Khan and directed by Milind Ukey, Shahid is playing an English and music teacher who helps nurture a bunch of naughty and troubled kids. Shahid has also started shooting for Anurag Singh’s untitled next for Yash Raj Films. He will play the lead opposite Rani Mukerji in the film.
Though Kidnap has not set the box-office cash registers ringing, life is coming up roses for Sanjay Dutt. He has almost 20 films in the pipeline at various stages of production. His long line- up includes films like EMI, Blue and Alladin. He also turns producer with his own banner Sanjay Dutt Productions. Two films, an action adventure directed by Soham Shah and another action film directed by Milan Luthria are scheduled to hit the floors next year. He says, " I am very charged about life and want to do a lot of good work. Thankfully I am getting a lot of work." He is looking forward to the release of EMI where Sanjay Dutt plays 'Sattarbhai', a bully who collects loan instalments from bank debtors.
The character has been inspired by a real-life collecting agent and the film is being co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Suniel Shetty. In Ashtavinayak's Blue that is reportedly being made with a huge budget of 100 crores, Sanjay Dutt will be seen daredevil stunts. Major portions of the film are being shot under water's in the Bahamas and everyone on the sets is undergoing extensive training in underwater stunts. He will also be seen in Rahul Dholakia’s Lamha which is apparently based on the Kashmir issue.
Shahana Goswami has won many hearts with her outstanding performance as Arjun Rampal's bickering wife in Rock On!! Though she began with theatre, her main aim was to find a firm toe in Bollywood. Because of her theatre background she got a role in Naseeruddin Shah's directorial debut, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota. But it was only after Rock On!! that she got noticed. Ru-Ba-Ru her first solo-heroine film with Randeep Hooda did not go down too well with the audience but she has every reason to rejoice. She has some very interesting films in her kitty and will be next seen in Nandita Das's Firaaq where she plays the role of a Mehendi artist, Munnera. Sudhir Mishra's Tera Kya Hoga Johnny will see her playing a small but important role. The sassy girl is also looking forward to Vinay Shukla's Mirch, which is an ensemble film.
