Like his mother, the late Smita Patil, her son Prateik Babbar has kicked off his acting career in a very unconventional way. The 21-year who has done the Kit-Kat and Pepsi commercials will be making his acting debut in writer-turned director Abbas Tyrevala’s romantic Jaane Tu Na Jaane Na. The intriguing part is that the star son is not playing the lead but only has a few crucial scenes, as the film will be launching Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran.
An actress who has her diary completely full is Divya Dutta. The petite actress is gung-ho about the 12 films she has in her kitty, 11 of which will release this year. The action kicks off this month with Kahani Gudiya Ki, which is the true story of a young Muslim girl whose dead husband comes back after she gets re-married. The list also includes U, Me Aur Hum, Love Khichidi, The Last Lear, Chehre, Mahaadev Ka Sajjanpur, Hello Darling, Dubai Returned and more. But Divya is most excited about Rakeysh Mehra’s Dilli 6 in which she is paired opposite Atul Kulkarni.
