Desire the journey of a woman‘The Desire-Journey of a Woman’ is a Hindi feature film that's dubbed in Chinese.
These days, Shilpa Shetty is on a roll and how! After wooing the hearts of millions and zillions of fans in U.K. courtesy her 'Big Brother' win, Shilpa is now all set to add a few Chinese fans to her ever growing fan-base. Shilpa will be seen in producer Sharad Hegde's prestigious Indo-Chinese project ‘The Desire- Journey of a Woman’ directed by R.Sarath.

‘The Desire-Journey of a Woman’ is a Hindi feature film that's dubbed in Chinese and revolves around dance, music, art, culture and emotions. It's the story of 'Goutami', an accomplished Odissi dancer and a talented artist 'Jai Leang'. Shilpa would be seen sharing the screen space with the Chinese superstar Xia Yu and Bollywood's timeless dancing beauty Jaya Prada. The supporting cast also includes Anupam Kher, Sheetal Menon, Nakul Vaid and Asif Sheikh.

After the completion of a schedule with Shilpa and Xia Yu at Putarajaya in Malaysia, the film has now moved into its last leg of shooting with only one schedule left, to take the film into post-production. While the famous trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have composed the film's music, the music Maestro A.R.Rahman has rendered the background score.

With such a solid cast and crew, ‘The Desire- Journey of a Woman’ indeed seems worth looking forward to, especially as it brings together dancing queens Shilpa Shetty and Jaya Prada on the silver screen.
