"I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again," the New York Daily News quoted director Michael Patrick King, as saying.

The new adventures of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte have yet to be scripted and King was tight-lipped when it came to the plot.

"I would love to give everyone more information about the sequel," he said.

"But I'm busy with my ''Sex'' life,” he added.

"In the last movie, I thought (fans) wanted to see an epic and violently tragic love story, and drama, but I don't think you go to that candy store twice," he told ‘E!’ Online's Marc Malkin.

During press appearances in London three months ago, Cattrall told reporters she was certain a sequel would happen.

"The fans keep saying, ''Yes, one more,” Cattrall said.

"The movie was so much fun to do and be part of again. I hope we're going to do it again,” she added.
