The 'Twilight' on screen couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's romance is heating up as the actor has been constantly texting his co-star while she shoots for her film 'The Runaways' in Los Angeles.

Pattinson, who is currently in New York City to shoot 'Remember Me' has been texting and calling Kristen to 'check in', a source close to the "Twilight" on-screen lovers told OK! Magazine. The teen hearttrob has even invited Stewart to visit him on his film set.

The on screen couple have often been linked together though both of them have denied dating.

Earlier reports suggested that Pattinson had given Stewart an ultimatum to choose between him and on-off boyfriend Michael Angarano. They start filming the third "Twilight" movie, "Eclipse" in October.

"He's invited her and their New Moon co-star Dakota Fanning to fly to New York and hang out with him and his friends some weekend, his treat," a source close to the actor said.

"It's no secret that their relationship has been heating up these past few months. They are attracted to each other, and there is definitely something very special going on between them," the source added.
