In fact, Riya won’t even be in the country during the festive season this year, since she will be in Hong Kong working. But the Bong babe will have her friends with her and she plans to hang back a few days, so that she can party with her friends.
Riya is, however, making sure that she spends New Year’s Eve with her family, even though she has to perform at a show that day. To make sure that happens,
Riya has rejected offers to perform in places as far-flung as London, Dubai and Australia and has decided to perform in a show in Pune, where her family and friends will be present. She says, ‘I’m away for Christmas but want to be with family on New Year’s. It’s a ritual and we’ve always celebrated it together.’
