Raveena Tandon in Gulab Gang

Raveena Tandon has signed Shoumik Sen’s Gulab Gang, a woman- centric film about 500 female gang members who wage a fight against injustice in a village in Uttar Pradesh. Interestingly, they all wear pink sarees, hence the title Gulab Gang. The feud in the film is between two strong women, Raveena, who plays the leader of this gang and a forceful lady politician. “It’s a very strong role,” announces Raveena. While Shahana Goswami is confirmed to play one of the gang members, it is learnt that Mahie Gill is playing a prominent part in the film. The film takes off early next year. Raveena is back in tinseltown after a break of five years and is also doing Revathy Varma’s Hum Aapke Liye, in which she plays a lawyer.
