




RASIPA launched
An Institute of Performing Arts, RASIPA (Pt. Rajan & Sajan Misra Institute of Performing Arts) was launched in a function in New Delhi. The launch programme was hosted by renowned vocalists Ritesh and Rajnish Misra in association with Delhi Film Institute (DFI).
The guests present included Pt. Rajan & Sajan Misra, Rajendra Prasanna, Deepak Gulati, Rishab Prasanna, Rajesh Prasanna and others. A flute recital was presented by Rishab and Rajesh Prasanna and was well-appreciated by the guests.
RASIPA focusses on Vocals (Khayal, Bhajan etc.), Instrumental (Tabla, harmonium etc.) and Dance (Kathak and other forms). Exclusive classes of Indian Classical Music and Dance will be provided under the able guidance of Ritesh-Rajnish Misra and Swaransh Misra (renowned singer, composer and lyricist). RASIPA is an institute having a dominant lineage to the great Banaras Gharana. The institute aims to create awareness and appreciation for our own culture and its tradition, through the sound of music.

DJ Richard Murray presented classic dance songs with electronic sound tracks on October 24 at a Mumbai pub. DJ Richard has been playing all over the world after performing in Japan, Poland, Kuwait, Barcelona, Moscow and Brazil; Richard came to India for the first time with his latest release Kings of the little kingdom.
