Indications that the 36-year-old actress was fed-up with her public persona was evident when she recently revealed a new wardrobe of sky-high heels and short skirts.
In her latest film, which is a romantic drama Paltrow, who is a mother of two children plays the role of Michelle trying to seduce her neighbour Leonard, played by Joaquin Phoenix, the ‘Daily Mail’ reported.
The ‘Shakespeare in Love’ star is also launching a worldwide chain of gyms with her personal trainer Tracy Anderson, who also trains Madonna. Paltrow has already produced and directed a successful exercise video for Anderson.
"Tracy and Gwyneth are out to make some serious money...The DVD they made has been pouring off the shelves.
It’s been endorsed on the cover by Gwyneth and Madonna, and Gwyneth is pushing it to anyone she can. She has been amazed by the fitness results Tracy's helped her to achieve," says a source.
The Oscar winning actress became friends with Anderson after she helped Paltrow get into shape following the birth of her son Moses.
"She's funny, amazing at her job and all heart," Paltrow recently said of her new business partner.
