She dances, acts, hosts shows,and sets ablaze the stage as a performer.But this is not only what Anusha Dandekar is all about. The multifaceted artiste is busy channelising yet another creative streak in her to the right straits. Born and brought up in Australia when the 'loot gaye' girl made her debut alongside Bollywood Badshah Amitabh Bachhan, speculations regarding her sticking to the industry for long did the rounds.

But soon after the film she slipped back to her comfort zone where she can be herself, the VJ den, occasionally making an appearance or two is some of the Bollywood flicks. "Being a VJ is not secondary to me. For me it is much more important and what I like to do is to experiment. That is why you can always spot me venturing into different aspects of acting, Vjying and now I want to do a bit of singing too," says an ecstatic MTV style check host.

In Pune for the auditions of Brylcreem MTV Dhoni's Style11, a hair styling contest the MTV VJ shares what other than VJying keeps her busy.

The VJ turned actor toddles towards the world of music. With her two sisters she is all set to explore the other dimension of an artiste's persona with her soon-to-release music album. Attributing the traits of a singer in her to her mom Anusha says, "My mom used to sing very well but she never entered the public domain and from her, I guess, all three of us have picked up this flair." Anusha, who with her elder and her younger sister is featuring in the album, will also be doing some dance numbers for it. "Our band will also be the first ever Maharashtrian girl rock band. We have got R&B, fusion of pop and Hindi and Punjabi numbers. We will also like to add the Marathi touch to the album since this is the place from where we belong and we are working on that," says Anusha.

Apart from the album she is busy working with the Shahrukh's Troupe for King Khan's tour’-TemptationsReloaded. ”I will be accompanying Shahrukh, Arjun Rampal, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Ganesh Hedge for the tour. I will be hosting it and will perform as well," says she.
