NSG learns from 26/11
by Radhakrishnan on 2009-03-13 06:19:47.534079+05:30 What is the public service rendered by leaking these critical data on th additional inputs planned for the NSG? Are we signalling to the enemy that the guards at present are handicapped, you come and do what you want before we get ready? There has to be some moderation in this genre of reports.Otherwise, it will be counter-productive.

Keep Off from NSG
by Kameshwaran on 2009-03-09 15:55:49.975773+05:30 For god's sake please don't disclose the weaponry, training, tactics, numbers or any other details to anyone except its own military commanders and the service cheifs. As the name indicates the national security guards are the ultimate and the last option for the security of the nation. Keep them elite, best, secretive and extremely lethal in such a way that the mere mention of their name will make the enemy start wetting his pants. For god's sake keep them away from media, politics, games and bereaucracy. Remember, but for these brave indians, our great nation would have ended up negotiating the kashmir issue with our great neighbour while these guys would be promptly be killing thousands of innocents, professionals, intellectuals of our country who are the backbone of our economy during mumbai attacks. We people don't want to know the technical details of what NSG is doing or how it is training. We just want to know that our country is in safe hands

NSG learns from 26/11, to upgrade its firepower
by Anil on 2009-03-09 15:45:21.922977+05:30 These are good swift move that we procure the best weapons for our elite forces..please make sure that our rouge dirty politicians and bearucrats does not steal the funds under the pretext of kickbacks.need to have a strict vigilence over these criminals and make sure that the total allocation for these purchase goes entirly on purchase of good weapons...Also one more valid point i would like to add.why the media needs to publish such classified info regarding the weapons and gadgets used by such elite forces...which will be vulnerable as the terrorists might procure some sophisticated weapons/gadgets which can counter those with our forces..i belive these type of information should not be circulated by the forces to media.

by Hari on 2009-03-09 19:20:18.640056+05:30NSG should come under PM's office and cabinet scretary.look at the up to date and modern SPG and their force and weapons. NSG is under home ministry and NSG is treated like any other para military office like CRPF,CISF.procurement for NSG is delays and suffering for being under home ministry.
