Kabir Khan, the director of the film, has been invited to attend the opening night, said a statement from the production house.
'New York', which also stars actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan, received a good response from the audience after its release in June this year.
The film is a contemporary story of three young friends whose lives turned upside down by the 9/11 terror attacks in the US.
One of the oldest film festival in the Middle East, the CIFF will acknowledge the new generation of film-makers by honouring Indian cinema this year.
The festival will be attended by international stars like Salma Hayek, Samuel L Jackson, Lucy Liu and Tom Berenger, who is also a member of the international jury.
