The unit of Dharma Productions’ My Name Is Khan has returned to India after a lengthy schedule in San Francisco, US, with 80 per of the shoot complete. Shah Rukh Khan, who flew to London for a brief holiday with his family, will be returning to Mumbai on July 25, after which the film’s final schedule will commence. Work on the film’s sets began more than a month back at Film City in Mumbai, with a huge trench being dug up to erect a church and some houses submerged under floods. The schedule will also see some indoor scenes and jail sequences featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Sheetal Menon who plays his advocate, two cops and a judge. Child artiste Tanay Chheda, who plays the young Shah Rukh in the film, will also be shooting his scenes next month. The unit may travel to Karjat for a few sequences.
