As for Shah Rukh’s character, he is an autistic who gets arrested for ‘suspicious behaviour’ and is charged for being a suspected terrorist. Others in the cast include Kajol, Zarina Wahab, Jimmy Sheirgill and Sheetal Menon.
Wanted being shot in Bangkok
A thrilling action sequence is being shot by action-director Vijayan and his team for Boney Kapoor’s, Wanted… at various locations in Bangkok. One of the sequences is at an indoor stadium and has southern star Prakash Raj and hundreds of spectators watching a brutal fight between female Thai boxers. Another sequence with visual effects has been shot on a barge at high-tide. The film, inspired by the Tamil film Pokkiri, is jointly produced by Boney Kapoor and Sahara One Motion Pictures. Starring Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar and Prakash Raj, it is directed by Prabhu Deva and has music by Sajid Wajid. The post -production of the film is on and it is being readied for a July 3 release.
Phillum City 60 per cent complete
The UTV Production Phillum City, which is being directed by the banner’s co-founder Deven Khote, is 60 per cent complete. The film, which went on the floors on April 27, is set against the background of the Indian film industry. A light-hearted story, it depicts life in a chawl situated next to Film City, a sprawling Bollywood studio and is presently being shot at Chandivali Studio in Mumbai. The film stars John Abraham in a special role apart from Amit Mistry, Kavita Kaushik, Namit Das, Amruta Khanvillkar and Rajesh Khera.
