




Song for World Peace
Music composer-lyricist Rahul B. Seth endorsed the cause of “World March for Peace and Non-Violence” by creating a special song We’re together for the event on October 13 at Mumbai’s Jehangir Art Gallery, which was played at the venues and will also be played across the subsequent global venues. Artist Francis is also doing a special painting dedicated to the song, which shall be on display at the Gallery. The song has been rendered by Rahul B. Seth himself with Padmini Roy and goes The day we all come together as one/The world shall be a safer place for everyone.
It was also played at a special event on October 14 at a special event at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Hotel to honour the Global Delegates for the World March. Other eminent names endorsing this World March for Peace are the Dalai Lama, Jimmy Carter, Zubin Mehta, Brian Adams, Ratan Tata, Suniel Shetty, Adi Godrej and others.
Li’l Champs turn playback singers
The little wonders of L’il Champs have become playback singers even before the show is over. Five of the 12 finalists - Shreyasi, Hemant, Prateeksha, Yatharth and Swarit - have all lent their voices for the forthcoming movie Bal Ganesh 2, the music release of which was held on the sets of the show recently. The movie releases this week. The show is being judged by Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet Bhattacharya.
Arabic album launched by Times Music
Stylish, sexy and Arabic: that’s how the launch of Times Music’s latest Indipop album, Ishqamaan by Ali Quli was described at the launch on October 14 at a suburban 5-star hotel in Mumbai.
Johny Lever, Kabir Khan, Mini Mathur, Suresh Menon, Firoz Nadiadwala, music director Salim, choreographer Bosco, Karan Oberoi, Gaurav Chopra, Chin2 Bhosle, Anaida, Salma Agha and album producer Reeyaz Moosa were present.
