Dosti Ya Masti on UTV Bindass
After directing the hilarious Quick Gun Murugan, Shashanka Ghosh is back on television directing Sid Vs Varun adapted from the hit international format Kenny Vs Spenny. The show is based on the winning concept that best friends are always the fiercest competitors, always ready to embarass, ridicule, challenge and most importantly have fun with each other. The desi version has Sid and Varun, two completely different people who are not only best friends but who also love to challenge, goad and outdo each other. Sid is the smart ‘bad guy’ who is rebellious, loud and abrasive, yet at the same time suave and convincing. Varun, on the other hand, is the perfect guy, boarding school-bred with deep-rooted values and ideals. He is clean- shaven, strongly opinionated and unshakeable in matters of morality, for him its either ‘black or white’ - he does not believe in shades of grey. Intelligent, lucid and dynamic, sporting a broad smile on most occasions, he is usually calm and composed and prefers making a plan and working on it. The format Kenny Vs Spenny has been licensed by Bomanbridge Media Pvt Ltd, out of Singapore.
