Mohanlal is also doing a film with Suresh Gopi. The two had last played key roles in Rajeev Nath’s Pakal Nakshatrangal and of course had also teamed up for Twenty Twenty. They are once again coming together in Janakan, directed by debutant Sanjeev N.R. Sanjeev N.R who was hitherto known as Saji Paravoor and was an associate to many leading directors, attempts to make the film as a blend of an investigative thriller and family drama, with the element of friendship being given much prominence. Scripted by S.N.Swamy, Janakan is produced by Arun Kumar and A.Shan under the banner of Line of Colours and also has in the cast Jyothirmayi, Biju Menon, Harisri Ashokan etc. The film is fast nearing completion.
