The Censor Board here had objected to the song "Barso Re" which contains the starting verses of Hanuman Chalisa in rock version on grounds that sentiments could be hurt.

Shah approached the Revising Committee which too turned down his plea that the song was crucial to the film's story.

He moved the Tribunal which then passed the song with a minor change where the crowd sings "Hanuman ki jai" with Salman Khan.

Speaking about his experience, Vipul said, "Lord Hanuman is also known as Sankat Mochan, which means one who puts an end to all problems. In the film, Salman plays a simpleminded Punjabi, who believes that chanting the Hanuman Chalisa will put an end to the problems he is facing. As expected, everything turns positive for him and his rock band."

Shah said the tribunal, which is a higher body, found no reason why the promos should be changed, he added.

The Filmmaker said since concerns were voiced about hurting sensibilities, the song was given a go-ahead with a minor change.

"The promos were then cleared by the Censor Board in Mumbai and we have got the certificate now. The promos will now be on air soon," Vipul said.
