Glamour model Katie Price has tied the knot with her cagefighter boyfriend Alex Reid in a quick little ceremony in Vegas Tuesday night.

As opposed to Price's lavish wedding to Peter Andre in 2005, the event this time was all hushed up with very few guests and some TV channels attending, reported Mirror online.

"Katie and Alex are delighted to announce that they got married in a private, simple ceremony at 4pm (PST) on February 2nd in Las Vegas. They said, 'We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can't wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes'," read an official statement.

Price and the 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner arrived by 3.30pm Vegas time for a quick 22-minute ceremony that started at 4pm.

The newlyweds then returned to a 10,000-a-night penthouse honeymoon suite after the short ceremony.

"Kate was incredibly excited. She had the idea while Alex was in the Celebrity Big Brother house and decided to just run with it. She loves Alex, and he is great with her three kids, so she thought she'd go for it," said a source.

The couple are believed to have secured a 1 million pound deal for exclusive pictures of their wedding, which comes less than a year after her split from Andre.
