Angelina, 33, who gave birth to a boy and a girl at Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, handed out the staff a list of her dietary requirements when she booked in for her delivery earlier this month.
Angelina, the star of current hit movie Wanted, is expected to stay in the hospital for a few more days.
"She will continue the diet when she returns home with the twins until she is well and truly back in shape," a friend of the actor was quoted as saying by the Mail online.
"Angie will only eat organic food and a diet rich in Omega-3," said the unidentified friend.
The report said Angelina's menu includes "organic salmon with tomatoes, brown bread and herbs for breakfast".
"She has almonds or hazelnuts with apple and honey for a snack, while mackerel or grilled fresh tuna with watercress, spinach and tomatoes is a typical lunch or dinner," the friend said.
Angelina, who had checked into the hospital on July 1, gave birth to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, born one minute apart on Saturday evening.
