




Khan and her two sons escaped death during the incident that took place in Nairobi in 2000, but it has left a permanent mark on her – the loss of hair on either side of her head.
“The hair grew back white in those patches, and I’ve had to dye it ever since,” the ‘Daily Express’ quoted her as saying.
She describes her hair as being her “security blanket”, and says that she has only cut it “shortish” twice.
“Both times hideously,” she told ‘Vogue’ magazine.
“I would love to have a gamine crop but I know it would look terrible on me,” she added.
