God Tussi Great Ho banned in Kuwait

Following UAE banning Salman-Amitabh starrer Bollywood movie God Tussi Great Ho, another Gulf country Kuwait has decided to stop its screening as well.

The country's ministry of information decided to impose ban on the movie as it "reportedly violates teachings of Islam," a Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) official told Arab Times.

Interestingly, Bruce Almighty, the Jim Carrey-Morgan Freeman movie of which God Tussi Great Ho is a remake ran in Dubai with cuts but was banned in Kuwait. Bruce Almighty has been repeatedly telecast on Western movie channels that are aired in the region.

Pirated copies of the movie are already available in these countries and hundreds of copies are believed to have been sold already. Kuwait banned the movie Kingdom last year as it reportedly portrays Saudi authorities in a negative light.

Not that great! by Ramesh K. on 2008-08-24 20:08:03.69204+05:30 I just happened to see a part of the movie, and nothing to sing about it either. Suffice it to say, Salmaan Khan now looks old. I could see his facial skin wrinkles and if he doesn't get married soon, he can forever be a bachelor.

to govi by matar on 2008-08-24 06:12:41.324829+05:30 you know govi you are an ass***e, you have to know that most of the stars like to visit gulf countreis becoz they are very kind and friendly people and most of their films like Big B and sallu's people like it even arabs likes bollywood stars, but it doesn't mean they may cross the light , for sure there is something in god tuse great ho otherwise they let the people see and enjoy , you have to see films and then you may judge on it . we respect all religen but you don't have a right to insult us you idol.

Kuwait/Koward by govi on 2008-08-21 23:49:50.97135+05:30 It is an insignificant country. It was wiped off from the map and thanks to USA power there is a little dot called Kuwait on the map. So will it make a difference eemh. It is a powerless brainless country. Like it was a saying in 70s in Europe, they have oil but no brains. They just hide themselves in white gowns and the brains are clotted with the red muslin cloth.
