Making sure Friday nights are never the same, the channel is bringing in the uber talented director, producer, actor and singer Farhan Akhtar to play host. "We promise you a weekend filled with witty, vivacious, glamorous, crazy, humorous and juicy entertainment and that too without you having to leave your home!" tells a production insider. Farhan likes to call it "entertainment - plain and simple." The show called 'Oye! It's Friday' will bring in an hour of cutting edge humour, performances, news making guests, edgy style all rolled into one. "This show is something I want to watch. It has no rules and no boundaries and its only aim is to entertain. I've done a lot of different things in my life and career and the reason I want to be a part of Oye.. It's Friday is because it is so excitingly unconventional," mentioned Farhan. Interestingly, Akhtar is the first in the line of "seriously irreverent but seriously interesting personalities" that will host the show. These hosts will switch and swap over the course of the series and will surprise and entertain week after week! Sure, Friday nights will never be the same. Tune in.
