What’s on your iPod?

I have songs from all genres of music — trance, ghazals, Bollywood and soft romantic numbers. I love to listen to Allah ke Bandhe and Baz Luhrmann’s song Sunscreen.

What’s your DVD pick?

An old English classic — Butterflies are Free.

Your most favourite romantic scene in a movie.

The bedroom scene in Guru which features Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Another favourite is from Dil To Pagal Hai, when Shah Rukh Khan proposes to Madhuri Dixit. Both are extremely romantic.

Which hero would you love to go on a date with and why?

Jude Law. He is amazing.

Which dialogue have you mouthed the most in front of the mirror?

I have never done that.

Who inspired you to become an actor? If not, was it your childhood dream?

No one in my family even thought that I would become an actor and neither did I dream to be one. It was my destiny that I landed in this industry and now I am happy.

The worst film you ever watched. Why?

Thomas Korschil’s Sunset Boulevard. I don’t like to watch anything that is sad and melancholic.

Which film do wish you could be a part of?

Butterflies are Free, Khamoshi and Dil To Pagal Hai.

What makes you an actor?

My ability to connect to my character.

Quiz: From which film is this line: Moochhey ho to Nathulal jaisi, varna na ho?

Sharabi. (Correct.)
