Tum Mile, now ready for release, revolves around Mumbai’s 2005 floods and Hashmi hopes it might just be the film to thrust him back into the limelight. He plays a struggling artist who finds himself stranded with a complete stranger in the rain.
“It’s time I did something different though most of my films have done well. No, there’s no kissing in this movie,” Hashmi answered curtly when asked predictable questions about his “serial kisser “tag.
For now at least, he has enough to keep himself occupied — the upcoming projects include Raftaar: 24x7 and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai in which he portrays a TV news presenter and Dawood Ibrahim respectively.
If nothing else, count on Hashmi’s lucky charm, of hit songs even in flop movies.
