Deepika makes sure she keeps in touch with family and friends

Deepika Padukone has been busy finishing shoots for two films, ‘Houseful’ and ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’. But the actress wants to make sure that she doesn’t miss out socialising or keeping in touch with her friends and family so she just bought herself a new laptop and carries it with her everywhere she goes.

“I’ve got this personalised Yahoo page for myself so that I can now check mail, chat and send photos all the time,” says the actress. While most actors have now started to use Facebook and Twitter to keep in touch with fans personally, Deepika has not yet gone that way as yet.

“But I do get a lot of e-mails from fans and I do try to reply whenever I can. The Internet is such a personal way to keep in touch with your fans.”
