Best friends Akshay Kumar and Suneil Shetty are on a mission to become rich and famous in order to marry their respective girlfriends. Akshay is hired by an industrialist and Suneil lands up a job at the courier delivery centre. Both fall into trouble when their girlfriends, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy give them an ultimatum to either earn money and marry them or to forget them. Both the friends devise a fool proof plan to kidnap someone and demand a huge ransom. The kidnapping goes on as planned until things spiral out of control and Ram and Nitin realise that they are hiding in the same hotel that Sameera is getting engaged at. As the guys try to get their hands on the ransom money, they encounter assorted characters like a Chinese Don, a hired assassin, an ACB officer, a club dancer, an ambassador, a young frustrated wife, a letch, a drunken waiter and a dead body. De Dana Dan promises to be a great comic caper in true-blue Priyadarshan style.

De Dana Dan has been a fun-filled, roller-coaster ride, right from its concept level, to its side splitting screenplay to casting to scouting locations to visualising the beautiful sets, the amazing miniatures, the songs, the music, it has been an amazing journey. I am personally very satisfied with the final product as we achieved what we had set out to do, to give the audience a comedy caper that has everything larger than life. Come and watch De Dana Dan and I hope you enjoy the movie as much as we enjoyed making it.
