Social worker Vinod Jain had filed the case and accused Pooja Bhatt of exhibiting vulgar posters of her film Rog which portrayed a scantily clad South African model, Ilene Hamman. Hamman and the director of the movie, Himanshu Brahmbhatt, were also named in the complaint.
After listening to both the parties, Magistrate G S Gaikwad on Monday discharged Bhatt and Singh. However, the case against the actress Hammam and Brahmbhatt is still pending after the two failed to appear before the Court.
Pooja’s advocate, Vinod Parekh, said that his clients would soon file a defamation suite against Jain. “It is very essential that people should realise that they cannot go ahead filing cases as per their whims,” said Parekh.
