It’s about loving your family
A rather dramatic scene is being filmed on Zeenat Aman, Helen, Parikshit Sahni, Yuvraj, Maradona, Hazel, Asha Sachdev and Vinay Apte. The set is the dining area of Almeida Villa in far-flung Versova in suburban Mumbai. Roasted chicken legs, chicken tikka, a chocolate cake, rice and glasses of wine make for an appetising spread on the dining table. It’s a dinner for close friends by Zeenat to celebrate her son, Yuvraj and daughter-in-law Rituparna’s wedding anniversary and everyone is in a celebratory mood. As they dig into the sumptuous food, the mood is suddenly disrupted by the entrance of Vinay who plays Zeenat’s boss in the film (they were having an affair till Zeenat decided to call it quits). She is shocked at his appearance and says, "Please don’t embarrass me in front of the family, we can talk later." He retorts with, “Aaj kal ke bacche bahut understanding hote hai, unnse kya chhupaana...”. Asha Sachdev, Parikshat Sahni, Maradona and Hazel all look puzzled.
Taking a break
“Cut!” says Sanjay Sharma and everyone rises from the table to stretch and relax. Zeenat calls her make-up man for a touch-up. She has lost oodles of weight and smiles sweetly when you compliment her. She makes way through the crowd to her make-up van, which is next to Helen’s, who surprisingly also looks very trim! Maradona, who plays Zeenat’s son, is very excited saying that working with Zeenat was like a dream come true! Hazel, on the other hand, is surrounded by photographers and obliges them by posing near the villa’s staircase!
Twisted relationshipsKapil Sharma, who has written the story of Dunno, says that the story with an Anglo-Indian backdrop has three love tracks, but none are normal relationships. Rituparna and Yuvraj seem to be a happily married couple, but there is something missing in their relationship. Zeenat, who is a single mother, uses her boss Vinay to better her prospects, while Kapil plays an aspiring gay model, who compromises on his morals making out with other males to bag assignments. "There is no straight character in the film," he said.
