Blue is a below-average film. It is more for the youth - as there is lots of violence, a bike race and nightclub dances, while heroine Lara Dutta beats FTV’s lingerie shows. On the plus side, underwater scenes are technically well-shot. I recall in the past there was a movie with underwater scenes - Anmol Moti - produced and directed by S.D. Narang with music by Ravi. It had memorable songs like Ai jaan-e-chaman tera gora badan and others, unlike this present film whose music by Rahman is loud.
