Big BBut despite the warning, Bachchan insists that he is unaffected by such reactions.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he was threatened by an unnamed person through a text message for visting a Hindu temple and a Muslim dargah.

The 67-year-old actor had described his religious routines in an earlier blog, which led the unknown person to threaten him against doing so, but the megastar is undeterred.

"That I visit a Muslim dargah and a Hindu temple has been viciously criticized by an unknown element on my mobile. He says it is incorrect of me to do so and that I should never do it again." Bachchan wrote on his blog.

The actor had visited the Haji Ali dargah in the wee hours on Thursday and then went to a nearby temple. He also visited a small dargah on and finally went to the

Siddhivinayak temple.

But despite the warning, Bachchan insists that he is unaffected by such reactions.

"I am going to do it again, and shall continue to do it. And I want to see how you are going to stop me. If you have the courage and guts come and get me," he wrote.

The man has also warned the actor that his latest film 'Aladin', which hit the theatres yesterday, will not be successful because of Bachchan's act of visting the dargah and temple.

"If the film has merit, no force on earth will be able to stop its worth. If the film is weak and does not have merit, no force on earth shall be able to make it a success. At the cost of every film of mine failing, I am not going to change my routine," wrote Bachchan.

Amitabh's Hypocrisy !!! by Krishnan on 2009-11-01 12:06:44.225987+05:30 Amitabh has exposed his true hypocrisy. He wants to have a "Gentleman" image and is ready to involve in gimmicks like this . We faithful Hindus are uncocerned about where Bacah goes and what he does . ( We all know that he is not a faithful follower of the Vedic faith) . But he should avoid such public humiliation of his mother faith ( Hinduism) .

Amitabh Bachchan threatened for visiting temple and dargah by Rohit Kumar on 2009-11-01 04:51:37.264678+05:30 How can we compare Dilip Kumar to somebody? We need 50 Amitabh Bachans to make one Dilip Kumar. Dilip Kumar was never a superstisious person. He had simply beleived in hard work and quality movies. He was not a merchant. He never appeared in any advertisements even though he was offered numerous in those days. Amitabh is a merchant - a money printing machine. Dilip Kumar is like Marlin Brando, Robert Denero, Lawrence Oliver etc... Dilip Kumar rejected Pyasa, Mother India, Mere Mehboob, Anand and many ther moveis on the basis of merits. An actor refusing to act in Pyasa and Mother India is something from different planet. The current film industry is nothing but a sophisticated and world class ghetto. Amitabh is the king of that ghetto - a leader who lead to this ghettoisation.

by J.Mahanty on 2009-11-02 09:23:32.163586+05:30But the same actor accepts award from Pakis, the arch enemies of India. Not long ago Amitabh cancelled his trip to Victoria ( under invitation from Victoria) in protest against the racial assaults on Indian Students.Dilip Kumar is NO match with Amitabh Bachchan and comparision just does not exist.

Big B's religious manupulation by gautam on 2009-10-31 20:31:44.653355+05:30 He is turning out to be big hypocrite.I have yet to hear that yesteryears superstar Dilip Kumar paying obiesance at masjid and mandir at one go.Big B is hurting Hindus sentiment and he must understand that.I prey God that one of his family member, say Abhishek, converts to Islam and that is fitting reply to Big B's secular credential. This type of people who are good at arguments are taken care off by GOD in someway. The way he talks in public also suggests he is not normal self.

1 Who's the hypocrite?
by AKS_1979 on 2009-11-01 03:32:15.006948+05:30I am a Hindu and my sentiments are not hurt, so Gautam, please do not ever dare to speak for Hindus. Hinduism has a million gods, and visiting a Dargah is just visiting another god. I's his personal affair and if you are offended, leave town or something.
