Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was on Friday discharged from Lilavati hospital where he was admitted last week following complaint of severe abdominal pain.

The actor dressed in a white shirt and accompanied by his wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, left the hospital at around 1040 hours.

Bachchan had been admitted to the hospital in suburban Bandra on October 11.
